Born and raised in the small town of New Plymouth, Idaho, Seth grew up on his family’s fourth-generation farm, where he learned the value of hard work, clear communication and always keeping both ears open. After studying Communication Sciences & Disorders at Idaho State University, Seth’s life took an unexpected turn at age 23 when he had an accident and developed persistent tinnitus and neurological challenges. Through the care of skilled clinicians and a solid support team, he made a full recovery—an experience that ignited his passion for helping others facing hearing and tinnitus issues.
As a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist (BC-HIS) in Utah, Seth works alongside Dr. Layne Garrett to deliver advanced hearing care and tinnitus-support services at Timpanogos Hearing & Tinnitus in Utah County. He recently completed the International Hearing Society’s Tinnitus Care Provider Certificate Program, placing him among a select group of hearing professionals trained in evidence-based tinnitus education, sound-therapy strategies and lifelong auditory health support.
At the clinic, Seth guides patients through their journey—starting with a no-pressure consultation, moving to diagnostic testing, then helping them select and manage modern hearing systems and tinnitus features tailored to their lifestyle and cognition. Outside the clinic, he enjoys reading, backpacking and power-lifting—always chasing a new peak.
