Jessica Nelson has devoted more than 15 years to helping patients reconnect with the people and moments that matter most. As a board-certified hearing instrument specialist (BC-HIS) and the Director of Treatment at Timpanogos Hearing & Tinnitus, she brings a powerful blend of deep technical expertise and compassionate, patient-centered care.
Jessica recently completed the International Hearing Society’s Tinnitus Care Provider Certificate Program, expanding her training in tinnitus education, counseling strategies, and sound-therapy support. She works closely with Dr. Layne Garrett to help patients understand their tinnitus, use sound-enrichment tools effectively, and stay consistent with evidence-based treatment plans.
In her clinical role, Jessica specializes in designing comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize long-term clarity, comfort, and cognitive support. She oversees fitting protocols, verification standards, and ongoing patient follow-up across both the American Fork and Spanish Fork clinics, ensuring each patient receives the highest level of care.
Outside the clinic, Jessica lives in Provo with her husband and two sons. When she’s not helping patients hear and feel better, you’ll likely find her on the sidelines at her boys’ games, camping in the Utah mountains, or enjoying time outdoors with her family.
