Dr. Jamie Ekstrom is a compassionate audiologist at Sounds of Life Hearing Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Kent State University in 2019 and completed her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2024 through the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium (NOAC). During her externship year, she trained at Sounds of Life Hearing Center, building strong relationships with patients and the team, which led her to join the practice as a full-time audiologist.
A Parma, Ohio native, Dr. Ekstrom specializes in tinnitus evaluation and management and is an approved Lenire provider, offering advanced treatment options for patients with tinnitus. She is passionate about staying at the forefront of audiology and looks forward to witnessing the evolution of hearing aid technology and diagnostic testing throughout her career.
Outside of work, Dr. Ekstrom loves animals, especially her giant dog, Bubby. In her free time, she enjoys building intricate LEGO sets, watching true crime documentaries, and catching up on reality TV.
Dr. Ekstrom’s expertise in tinnitus care, dedication to patient-centered services, and enthusiasm for advancing hearing health make her a valued member of the Sounds of Life team. She is excited to help individuals improve their hearing and reconnect with their world.
